[Fiware-general-help] Question about joining Fiware foundation

dear juan jose,

first of all thank you very much for your interest in fiware!

i think your company and the interesting things you do are doing are quite
interesting for us, so yes, we will happy if you will apply for membership.
being a member of the fiware foundation means wishing to drive where fiware
goes, how it will be, what initiatives to do or out in place and so on. so
in short means a nice responsibility to be shared with many others.

there are several level of membership you can apply as explained in our
portal at https://www.fiware.org/foundation/join/ with clearly different
level of rights and duties and different level of membership fees as
described in https://www.fiware.org/foundation/fee-code/.
as a first comment i have to say you that the "associate" level membership
is only for public and non-profit organisations. i say this as i do not
know which kind of company is yours.

i suggest you to have a look to all of the above, including the bylaws for
all the details (https://www.fiware.org/foundation/bylaws/) and then
through https://www.fiware.org/foundation/join/ you apply if you wish so.

anyhow, do not hesitate to contact me for any further clarification you
might need. in cc you have also my colleagues juanjo and fernando who,
being both spaniard, can eventually help you in spanish.

in the meanwhile i invite you to join us at the next forthcoming fiware
summit (29-31 may 2017 in utrecht) to have a glance of the fiware community
at work and have a lot of opportunities for networking (
