 Hello,

I am a last year student in a French Engineering School (Telecom SudParis),
doing my end of cursus internship over the topic of interoperability in
iot.

My internship started about two months ago, and at the moment, i have read
several websites and documented a lot with withpapers of standardization
bodies in a research purpose over interoperability in iot.

During my researches i discovered several entities and a lot of projects
aiming for a better interoperability.

I glimpsed famiilies of solutions (Dotdot of Zigbee Alliance, supposed to
be a universel language for iot, European projects Fiesta IoT and Fiware
for data semantic interoperability, and solutions using gateway as
SmartThings of Samsung, for smarthome).

To be honest, i am encountering difficulties in my work and i don’t
progress anymore.

I found out that there were an interesting work between Fiware and OneM2M
for data interoperability but not much information about.

Can you give me information about how is it done ?

I would like to know if there are any comparative work between each family
of interoperability solutions ? Are there solutions better than others in
certain situations? Are they totally incompatible ?

Are there experiences that i could manage in my internship with a platform
or not ?

Thanks you by advance,

Cordially,

Nicolas Manzano
