[Fiware-general-help] Synergies proposal JO Group - FIWARE

Dear Collaborators,

My name is Antonietta Cucinella and I am writing on behalf of the 
European Project Office of JO <https://www.jogroup.eu/en/jo-projects/>, 
a group of 5 Italian SMEs and 2 no profit organisations which has its 
core business in business consulting, European projects, e-learning 
technologies, Research and Development in several innovative fields and 
digital communication.

Our Organization has been participating, either as coordinator and 
either as partner, in more than 40 European projects in FP7, Interreg 
Italia-Malta, Intelligent Energy Europe, Erasmus+ etc. and many other 
R&D projects of regional/national programmes. Our fields of interest go 
from IoT to blockchain applied in several fields (especially e-health, 
agri-food and blue economy), from machine learning to virtual reality 
and 3D graphics.

We came across the website "ec.europa.eu" and we noticed that your 
organization has been involved in many H2020 projects. Therefore, we 
would like to discover synergies between our organizations and, as my 
CEO Giuseppe Ursino will be in Berlin next 24/27 May 2019, we would like 
to propose a meeting to shortly discuss about possible opportunities for 
collaboration.

Below you can find a short description of some of our companies, which 
are mainly invoved in EU projects:

*J**O Consulting* <http://www.joconsulting.eu/> provides tutoring 
services to /support start‐up enterprises as a business consultant/. The 
excellence in consultancy is also provided through the strong 
connections with University of Catania, as well as local authorities 
among the whole territory of Sicilian Region. JO Consulting acts as 
intermediate in the *EYE - Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs* programme so 
our team as a good experience in dealing with entrepreneurship issues 
and a good network of contacts.

*VITECO e-Learning Solutions <http://www.vitecoelearning.eu/en/>* is a 
provider of technologies for long-distance training and it is leader in 
e-learning sector and edutainment technologies. Our core business is 
based on VET and in the development ofinnovative ICT solutions, such as 
collaborative & e-learning platforms, online e-courses and webinars, 
interactive video quizzes, games, cartoons, web and mobile applications, 
etc. Moreover, since we have our Marketing & Communication office within 
that is specialised in digital communication and web marketing, we 
usually give strong support to consortium also with dissemination 
activities of the project.

*P.M.F. Research* 
<https://www.pmf-research.eu/en/servizi/machine-learning/> has its core 
business in research and development of ICT (IoT, virtual reality and 
3D, machine learning and blockchain), taking part in numerous 
international projects together with public and private research bodies, 
universities and enterprises. It is also a technology transfer 
consultant helping the matching between the world of research and 
enterprises in order to create research-applied solution to the SMEs 
technological innovation.

*IPPOCRATE <https://www.ippocrateas.eu/>* is a software house 
specialized in the development of digital technologies for e-health and 
smart healthcare solutions. It is involved in both Italian and European 
research and development consortia. It has a long experience in 
acquiring research funds by drawing on the agencies of the European 
Commission, Ministries and Regions.

*HT <https://www.ht-apps.eu/en/>* is a software house and since 2004 has 
its core business in agrifood tech and in development of apps. The 
expertise gained in web applications has allowed the company to have a 
leading role in international R&D projects in the field of ICT in 
collaboration with companies and research centers throughout Europe. HT 
is involved in the production of digital solutions to improve the 
tracking of products or in the use of the latest innovations of sensors 
and artificial intelligence (AI) or in realising UAVs which monitor 
arboreal and herbaceous crops so to improve the productivity and quality 
of the products.

*IPPO Engineering* <https://www.ippo-engineering.eu/en/> since 2004 is 
company active in the environmental field and exactly in blue 
technology, energy efficiency and renewable energy. In its activities, 
it aims to adopt the latest digital innovations in the environmental 
sector and provides its services to many Italian city councils and 
municipalities. It participates in several international projects 
financed with structural funds and with direct funding from European 
Commission agencies.
