Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition organized in the capital of Azerbaijan - Baku city is one of the most important events in the transport field for the Caspian basin and the Caucasus and the only annual event of this field in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan improved its positions in the Global Competitiveness Report:



	By efficiency of railway transport – 11 place
	By efficiency of air transport – 12 place
	By efficiency of marine ports - 25 place


Azerbaijani Market Today – Ongoing Works



	Expansion of economic ties and development of cooperation of transport networks of Azerbaijan with other countries;
	Increase in international freight volumes;
	Launch of passenger transportations within BTK railway in the near future; first cargo train passed from China to Europe through BTK in November, 2019;
	Commissioning of Baku-Sumgait Ring Railway by the end of 2019 is planned, construction of 14 tunnels and  24 overhead passages, installation of fences along the road and more new overhead passages, improvement of energy supply systems, signaling and communication, construction of traction substations for railways’ supply, installation of new turnouts; reconstruction works in Baku Railway Station; construction of Baku-Yalama railway; launch on designing a railway from Baku to Shahdag Mountain Ski Resort;
	Modernization of infrastructure of Port of Baku, creation of Free Trade Zone;
	Expansion of wagon fleet of Baku Metropolitan, construction of multi-level interchange subway stations;  construction of new subway stations; reconstruction of existing stations, update of equipment servicing for stations and tunnels maintenance, increase width dimension of platform (from 100 up to 140 meters);
	Construction of runaways at regional airports, procurement of road marking equipment for airports, airport equipment and controlling facilities for aviation security. Currently there are 6 functioning airports with fleet of cargo aircrafts in Azerbaijan.
