Dear Sir/Madam,

I take great pleasure in inviting you to the eLearning Africa Academy’s first online training course module on Learning Design <https://www.elearning-africa.com/academy_2021_learning_design.php> which starts on April 28, 2021

The “Learning Design Module – Learn how to create your own engaging online educational & training content” consists of five 60 – 90 minute courses which will take place between April 28 and July 7.

They will be delivered to you by Ferhana Dostmohamed <https://www.elearning-africa.com/main/resources/profiles/dostmohamed_ferhana.php> , a senior learning and talent development consultant, who helps organisations navigate transformations, from setting strategies to upskilling the workforce, to providing guided support for smooth technology implementations, to creating curated content for digital and other methods of learning for all levels of audiences. She works globally and across industries to provide proven processes and methods for success, leveraging agile principles. Ferhana brings key skills in implementing learning technologies and helping clients to build blended/digital learning solutions tailor-made for their unique organisational culture and needs.

Learning Design has become a critical skill for institutions to respond to changes in their industry and mobilise their workforce.

This programme will help you understand the principles of learning design so that you can build effective learning experiences by improving how you assess the learning needs, structure the content and finally, develop the material using audio, visual and storytelling skills.

This programme is for institutions, educational and training specialists who want to:

1.	Understand the design process – especially when working with an external provider
2.	Enhance their skills and build in-house capability to create their own education and training content
3.	Create digital modes of learning content
4.	Build more engaging learning content and use a variety of learning modalities
5.	Create workshop(s) to showcase their intellectual property as a way to engage with their corporate/educational clients

How you can participate:

1.	All courses will be held online.
2.	Attend Course 1 – a free 60 minute session to get an overview of the programme and key learning outcomes you can apply to your work right away
