The time since the last digest seems to have flown by and so many things have happened! We are pleased to share some of them with you. Over the past few days, we had the privilege of hosting two dynamic innovation delegations — one from the Beijing Municipal Bureau and another from the esteemed Embassy of Spain in Switzerland. It's collaborations like these that truly amplify our global connect and reinforce our commitment to international ties. The RiseUp Summit (https://riseupsummit.ch/) took place this year as well – a truly inspiring event organised by the Female Founders Initiative Switzerland (https://female-founders.ch/) (a STARTUP CAMPUS Switzerland and Impact Hub Zürich initiative) engaging over 300 women leaders. We contributed on topics of equality, leadership as well as finance and health. It was a day filled with insightful panels, keynotes, and great conversations. Katka Letzing, CEO & Co-Founder of Kickstart Innovation, recently moderated two engaging panel discussions with Kickstart partners and alumni. The first, titled “Future of Health,” featured Joanna Keiller, Business Unit Director at MSD Switzerland, Anna Rosenkranz, CEO & Co-Founder of Health Yourself, and Josephine Ritzel, Head of USZ Health Innovation Hub, where they explored the challenges and opportunities in healthcare innovation. The second panel, “Future of Inclusive FinTech,” included Franziska Steiner, Senior Opportunity Architect at VNTR by PostFinance, and Merle Zur, Lead for Programs and Partnerships at Impact Hub Zurich, discussing the future of fintech and financial inclusion. Both panels sparked insightful conversations on how innovation, inclusion, and collaboration can drive significant industry transformation, highlighting the importance of equitable access and responsible technological advancements across sectors.
