Dear investors,

I am reaching out regarding the current Series A round for my E-Grocery subscription business, afreshed, which aims to expand across Europe. Together with two colleagues from university, I founded afreshed in February 2021 in Austria as a direct-to-consumer (D2C) subscription-based grocery startup. We are transforming the food delivery market by delivering fresh produce in reusable boxes to B2C customers. Unlike other grocery delivery startups, afreshed is a subscription-only business, which has enabled us to grow to a yearly turnover of 6 million euros while remaining cash-efficient and even achieving break-even.

We are now raising 4.5 to 5 million euros in our Series A round to expand afreshed. The funds will be used to support our growth across Europe. We have already built a fly-wheel out of afreshed to grow exponentially out of cashflow. Despite we are raising the capital to speed up the growth. Some co-investors are already on board, but we are still seeking a lead investor to join this round.
