[Fiware-gold-members] FIWARE Foundation: elections of gold member representatives in the Board of Directors - 2023

Dear Stefano, I would like to nominate myself again as a member of the Board of Directors.

Here is my candidature:

"Jose Benitez, as CEO of Secmotic, Gold member of the FIWARE foundation since 2017, and member of the Board of Directors, presents again to the candidature for the Director position.

Jose has been an active member not only as a member of the BoD, but actively giving workshops in different events, such as different FIWARE Summits. Jose is a certified FIWARE Expert (#60) and he is also a FIWARE Evangelist and his company, Secmotic, is fully compromised with the technology.
During 2022, Jose has created a new company, FIWOO, which is a powered-by-FIWARE Smart city platform, which is currently stablished in several cities of Spain, such as Pontevedra, Huelva, Alcazar de San Juan, Algeciras' port, among others. FIWOO aims to expand internationally, always with FIWARE as its core, and has just became a new gold member in 2023

His deep knowledge about the technology and his ability to reach business and corporates, gives the Foundation a valuable point of view from the SMEs position.
The compromise of Jose with the Board of Directors has been demonstrated during the last 5 years of the Foundation, and this compromise will keep on going as long as he is a member of the board.
