just in case:
the seats to be elected are four (4), so the sentence shall be read:

"there are eight (8) candidates for *four (4)* seats as already announced
in a previous email. on behalf of the fiware foundation i really would like
to thank all of the candidates for their so strong commitment and passion
in wanting to drive fiware towards a successful future!"
