[Fiware-i2nd] R: [Fiware] Draft FI-Core Amendment 2

Dear Miguel,

The current amended DoW doesn’t include yet the description of TI’s involvement in Task 2.2.1, which was already requested at the time of preparation of first amendment (mail I sent to Juanjo dated Oct 10).
Can you please add in the ‘Partners Involved’ list of that Task (page 222) the following description:

-          TI: provides (or contributes to, if it is preferable in your view) Level 1 to Level 2 support for the FIWARE Lab node in Trento

Concerning WP18 i.e. Interface to Networks, Advanced middleware and Robotics Chapter, I don’t find reasonable to declare it closed at month 13, as it was not only dealing with the robotics GE (which could however move to WP11, as said at page 25).
In fact, activities are going on for at least one active GE/GEri, i.e. the Advanced Middleware’s Kiara (EPROS, ZHAW, DFKI), and there are two incubated GE/GEris, i.e. Netfloc (ZHAW) and OFNIC (UNIROMA1) for which the GE owners are providing their contribution, although not funded. While it would be ok that the role of Chapter leader is no longer in charge of TI (but I’m still giving a contribution from my side so far, as you know), it would be an issue for those partners still working in the chapter, and also expressing their willingness to join the FIWARE Community, to cancel it.

Dear all,

It is time to circulate the draft document with the 2nd amendment of the FI-Core contract. You can find the amendment that consolidates what we intend to include here:

There are still a few loose ends that we intend to address very quickly but they are reasonably well isolated and have very limited impact on other partners that the one concerned with the change in each case. Examples of things pending (marked with comments in the doc) are:

  *   Resources allocation of iHub, still under discussion
  *   Reductions of resources of Create-net to transfer them to Martel
  *   Orange/Atos node - no description so far, we may need to remove them if we do not receive the descriptions.
  *   Figure 46 needs adding new countries to the map
  *   Other minor changes within a same partner (no impact on others) such as budget redistribution, Atos adding a 3rd party, etc.
Note that the numbers under "B.1.3.12    Summary of staff effort" are the old ones and we will update them later. Our colleague from the admin sections may contact you for the usual details of the budget/costs and effort breakdown per task and we will create the usual effort tables for B.1.3.12.

We have the intention to send this draft to Ragnar on Friday at 12:00, adding the pending bits that I mentioned. Please send us any objections/comments before then, preferably in private (this is a list with maaaany people)

Needless to say, this is FI-Core confidential and cannot be distributed outside the consortium
