Taking the one from Brazil will be necessary anyway, and the German entity can serve Europe. Best regards Olaf <flavio at ufu.br <mailto:flavio at ufu.br> > schrieb am Fr. 25. In this case, the funding does not come from Europe but in case of a successful proposal we can apply for funding in Brazil (FAPEMIG, Minas Gerais stated research foundation). Under this perspective, we are open to participating in this proposal for the INTERREG EUROPE programme. However its clear to us that this participation of Internacional iHUBs must make sense in the overall proposal and this participation has to contribute to the proposal enhancement. TOPIC: Research and Innovation * Exchange of experience among regional players to improve policies in support of innovation infrastructure (e.g. incubators, technology information centres, research centres) addressing the key societal challenges in the field of health, demographic change and well-being. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FI-EUROPE: Smart Policies for Smart SME´s to become more Competitive in the Digital Economy through Future Internet Technologies. TOPIC: SME competitiveness * Exchange of practices about SME internationalization and export support facilities among regional development agencies, resulting in action plans for establishing new and improving existing SME internationalization support facilities in each region through a project under the regional Growth and Jobs programme or other regional programme. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Main goal of the project will be design interregional smart policies to develop a R&D programme to foster the implementation of Future Internet Technologies. The main results of the project will be the creation of policy instruments to improve the SME competitiveness and internationalization. All regions involved into the project are already running a Fiware Innovation Hub in order to offer a number of services to companies who want to become more competitive in the digital economy. FIWARE supports local digital hubs to enrich their services, to build a network of tech-enabling communities and to encourage the formation of internet based businesses at a local level. The project will work with the FIWARE iHUBS as an innovative environment to enhance the use of Future Internet Technologies by sme´s in a region. The project idea should be aligned by the Regional Operation Programme. Where in these INNOVATION Regional Programme will fit the iHubs?, any specific programme giving support to ihubs or activities related to the ihubs? What´s the problem we should solve around the FI tech in our Region? According to these context we should make the following steps before running the proposal: 1. Analyze the current Operational Programme and Structural Funds initiatives (FEDER) in your region. (According to the project idea and context. R&D and SME´s Competitiveness) a. If you want you can check current projects as example <https://www.interregeurope.eu/discover-projects/> https://www.interregeurope.eu/discover-projects/ b. Identify interesting lines, actions, initiatives, etc. 2. Confirm the participation of the following project consortium: a. Every Public Entity should be together with a technological partner (ihub) a. According to the conference call today with the programme officer the call is for public entities mainly. For this reason we propose the following structure: Nº Entity Region + Country Status IHUB INVOLVED Role Confirmed 1 Azores Government Portugal Public Entity FIMAC Public body managing OP/ Structural Funds YES 2 INNOVALIA Spain Research Organization FIMAC Technological Partner YES 3 Andalusia Government Spain Public Entity FIWARE ZONE Public body managing OP/ Structural Funds YES 4 Fiware Foundation Germany Foundation FIWARE ZONE Technological Partner YES 5 Utrecht Municipality The Netherlands Public Entity FUTURE CITY ihub Public body managing OP/ Structural Funds YES 6 Future City The Netherlands Foundation FUTURE CITY Ihub Technological Partner YES 7 Geneve Municipality Switzerland Public Entity UDC iHUB Public body managing OP/ Structural Funds YES 8 UDG Alliance Switzerland Research Organization UDC iHUB Technological Partner YES c) The maximum project consortium partnership is 10. If other ihubs members of different countries just involved would like to participate they should inform us on Thursday. Take into account that every ihub should bring a public entity on board. Please, give me a feedback on Thursday in order to continue with the process.
