[FIWARE-ihubs-committee] URGENT: reviewers owning FIWARE expertise for evaluation of smart manufacturing open call

Dear all,

   I'm approaching you with a kindly request for which we need a rather 
quick response.

   The DIH^2 project 
<http://dih-squared.eu/content/we-accelerate-factories-through-robotics> 
launched a first Open Call looking for manufacturing SMEs and 
solution/technology providers that will be funded for the creation of 
experiments piloting robotic solutions that may help to implement agile 
manufacturing (not just of industrial products but also food and other 
products).

   It is expected that proposed solutions will use FIWARE at least to 
become FIWARE-ready, i.e., exporting through NGSI their main 
functionalities so they can be integrated into a system of systems 
architecture in a Factory.

   Proposals submitted will be evaluated and those who have been 
involved in previous programs know how crucial it is to select good 
experiments and solutions which have the potential to take the most out 
of FIWARE, that provide a good rationale how they plan to use FIWARE 
which shows they have a good understanding of FIWARE technologies.  This 
as opposed to candidates which probably are just joining with the intent 
of getting the money and run.

   Unfortunately the team managing the open call evaluation process 
hadn't taken into account the need to involve evaluators who can judge 
properly submitted application with respect to usage of FIWARE.   We 
just realized about that last week and have negotiated with the 
coordinator the extension of the window for selection of evaluators.   
We have promised to deliver a list of evaluators by EOB this Monday 
January 27th.

   Therefore, *we need to compile a good list of evaluators with a 
FIWARE expertise who can contribute to evaluate submitted 
applications.   The task will be remunerated.*

   Francisco will send you right after this mail the planned calendar 
when the evaluation will take place and what would be the costs that 
will be reimbursed.

   If you are interested in joining please send your name to 
Francisco.   This project is strategic for the positioning of FIWARE in 
Smart Industry so please pay attention to this request.
