project: *FIWARE Foundation and Alastria Association bring blockchain to
the fore in Cattlechain 4.0 Project with high potential to revolutionise
the Smart Farming Market.*

Both organizations, together with the Cattlechain partners and
representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food in Spain,
French dairy cooperatives and users will participate in the *Cattlechain
final* event where main achievements to optimize farm productivity and
animal welfare using IoT & Blockchain will be presented.

The event will be live streamed from the Basque Culinary Center in San
Sebastian (Spain) 29 of March, 2022 – 12:00 AM – 14:00 PM

FIWARE and Alastria are working closely together on the definition of
building blocks for the creation of Data Spaces in various sectors. Results
are being used for early experimentation not just in the Cattlechain
project (for the Agrifood Sector) but also in Token

<https://i4trust.org/> (for effective Data Sharing in different domains),
and in technical convergence discussions taking place within the Data
Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA) <https://data-spaces-business-alliance.eu/>
initiative launched by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), the FIWARE
Foundation, Gaia-X and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA),
which are the reference organisations for Data Spaces in Europe.
