Dear FIWARE-iHubs,

within the FIWARE Community we were discussing the future of an Open Smart
Metaworld powered by FIWARE. There have been several Open Smart Metaworld
projects in the past like *Berlin TXL* <https://youtu.be/VPp3KVkvmj0>, *Vienna
wheel* <https://youtu.be/42dNh1VM7n4?t=1972> or the *academy Mont-Cenis in
Herne* <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8KekjPjpMs> in Herne.

At FIWARE Global Summit 2022 we started to discuss the future of Open Smart
Metaworld powered by FIWARE based on pitches to the technical architecture,
pilot projects round about culture, society and inner cities. This topic
got so much interest of the community that we would like to invite you to a
first kickoff brainstorming to the topic "Open Smart Metaworld powered by
FIWARE - initial strategy and pilots". The kickoff takes place at the 29th
of september starting at 17:00 o´clock MESZ.
