[Fiware-incorporation-new-nodes] FI-Core CA for your legal departments

Dear all,

This is a message for the new partners contributing nodes to FIWARE Lab after the Open Call. Those added afterwards to this list and already in the FI-Core consortium (Atos, Engineering, Orange) can safely ignore this message.

1) As you know (see the message at the bottom) you will be requested to sign the FI-Core CA and I assume that you legal departments have already read them and are ready to sign it when we ask for it. So this point is just a reminder.

2) We also need to sign the PPP CA and the MoC. In this context, CA = Collaboration agreement and MoC = Memorandum of collaboration. All members of a project in the PPP Programme are requested to sign it.  This is the text I got send by my Legal Dptmt: "Memorandum of Collaboration (“MoC”) designed to be signed by all FI PPP programme partners and the EIT ICT Labs. It reflects the European Commission’s and EIT ICT Labs’ strong willingness to cooperate given the mutual synergies in light of the objectives set for the EIT ICT Labs and the FI PPP programme."

To verify the signature you just need to fill in and sign the "accession form"

I enclose the whole lot for your convenience. Please check with your lawyers and be ready to sign when you receive the request to do so.

May point out that part of this info is confidential, please be cautious when handling it.

I attach the FI-Core CA (Consortium Agreement) for your legal departments. As you are aware, one of the formal requirements to get finally incorporated to FI-Core is to adhere to it.

This version cannot be the one that you will sign because the ongoing amendment implies adding 3 new partners to it. This is going to be the only difference between the one I attach and the one that you will get for signature. In summary, it is suitable for your legal departments to check. So if you please start looking into this we will ensure that the CA signature is not a blocker when the time comes.

Additionally, you know that signing the PPP CA (Collaboration Agreement) is also a must. I am going to contact CONCORD, the project of the PPP that manages this. I will report back the procedure once I get their instructions.
