[Fiware-individual-members] Election of co-chairs of the FIWARE Smart Cities DC

Dear all,

   I'm glad to inform you about the result of the co-chairs elections 
for the FIWARE Smart Cities Domain Committee (SC DC).

   First of all let me thanks all the candidates who were willing to 
contribute as co-chairs.    Elections were run to select up to three 
co-chairs.  However, two candidates got exactly the same number of votes 
for the third position.   We proposed the BoD of the FIWARE Foundation 
to relax the rule and accept both as co-chairs, meaning we would have 
four co-chairs.  This motion was approved by the BoD yesterday.

   Therefore, the following is the list of elected co-chairs for the 
period 2020/2021 (in alphabetical order of their surnames):

  * Roberto di Bernardo (Engineering)
  * Pierre Golz (City of Herne)
  * Arjen Hof (Future City foundation)
  * Antonio Jara (HOPU)

   You have their email contact since they are in copy.

   Next steps will be to review the Charter for the SC DC to incorporate 
description of planned activities for the upcoming period.  The SC DC 
will meet regularly on a monthly basis.

   As always, I take the opportunity to invite members of the FIWARE 
Foundation to join the Smart Cities DC mailing list 
<fiware-smart-cities-dc at lists.fiware.org> and this way keep updated on 
activities of this Domain Committee. In order to join, please don't
