Carlos : is it expected that someone else than you has to attend Madrid developer week? NEC (Tobias) has planned to attend, he is waiting for mission validation but with the other week in Brussels and for the best management of travel expenses, it could be better for them to attend Brussels event.

Hi Thierry,

  As anticipated in my email on February 10th to the whole FIWARE consortium and chapter leaders, a FIWARE developers week would most likely be organized the week starting March 23 in Brussels, that is collocated with the NetFutures event that takes places March 25-26 in Brussels.

  The finals of a FIWARE challenge launched by the EC with the support of the Finish FIWARE accelerator project will take place the same week.   Several of the 10 teams that will run the finals have proposed to use some of the GEs in the IoT chapter (Esper4FastData, IoT Broker, IoT configuration manager), so this will demand presence of the corresponding experts to give support.

  If the FIWARE Developers' week is confirmed, agenda from Monday to Thursday will follow the schema outlined for those kind of events, as described in the shared google spreadsheet template but support will be provided to teams participating in the FIWARE Challenge in parallel:

  If only the FIWARE challenge is confirmed, we will follow the same agenda as in the FIWARE Developers' week for Monday and Tuesday morning, rest of the time would be devoted to give support to teams.

  Please coordinate with Carlos who will be present during that week.   Regarding logistics, people should travel to be at the designated venues (to be confirmed on Monday) on Monday afternoon until Thursday evening.
