Here is the final announcement for this conference that might be of  interest to you. There is an IoT track chaired by Payam Barnaghi from the University of Surrey. I will be presenting our contributions on the edge domain of the FIWARE IoT architecture (paper attached)

The technical program is organized around 4 main tracks, chaired by world-renowned researchers:

·         Network IT-isation and 5G, chaired by Prosper Chemouil (Orange Labs, France);

·         Big data insights for networking, chaired by Françoise Soulie (Tianjin University, China);

·         Real-time communication platforms and services, chaired by Axel Küpper (TU Berlin and Deutsche Telekom, Germany);

·         Internet of Things, chaired by Payam Barnaghi (University of Surrey, UK).



Some invited papers will complete the technical programme on important trends of our industry, like

·         the cooperation between network and endpoints (Brian Trammell, IETF IAB & ETH Zurich),

·         SDN/NFV for intelligent edges (Andreas Gladisch, VP convergent networks, Deutsche Telekom Labs)

·         and 5G challenges and way forward (Dirk Kutscher, NEC Labs).



A special session on the economy and regulation of Internet platforms will provide a complementary business viewpoint on the ongoing transformations of the Telecom world, with

·         Marc Bourreau, Professor of Economics working on the digital industry and focused on Internet/Telecoms;

·         and Philippe Distler, member of the executive board of the French Telecom Regulatory Body (ARCEP).



The 20+ Posters and Demos will provide many opportunities to discover new topics through in-depths exchanges with peers. In addition, ICIN will host the first workshop on Green Communications Systems, included in your registration.
