Hello Fernando, In order to process to the installation of the Ficore platform, we have some technical questions : _/*1 - Gluster vs Ceph */_ Do you have some feedback regarding Ceph and Gluster ? As we know: - Ceph is the most recent storage (Object storage) and have a great evolution plans. - Gluster is more performent, however, it has been integrated into OpenStack most recently and it's not really integrated (Plugins) and verified in the last version of the Deployment Tools like (Fuel, ITBox 4). Regarding the difficulties to change the storage's architecture after installation, we need to know which storage we have to use in order to growth easily in the future. This, based on your experience. For both storage solutions, do you have some requirements/recommendations about configuration (metadata, journal, replications factors, ...) ? _/*2 - Sizing Vitual Storage (Non persistent) vs Persistent Storage*/_* * Could you also tell us , what is the recommended size to dissociate the persistent volume (Ceph, Gluster) and the non persistent volume (Virtual Storage). As we've seen, half of total size is recommended for each volumes, but do you have any recommendation based on your experiences ? -- ____________________________ *LEFEUVRE Sébastien* TAS France - WTC 1 - K 1300 route des crêtes - 06560 Valbonne Tel: +33(0)492945697 Fax: +33(0)492945699 Email: s.lefeuvre at tasgroup.fr <mailto:s.lefeuvre at tasgroup.fr> Site Web: www.tasfrance.com <http://www.tasfrance.com> Logo TAS -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
