Dear Ramon,
There are two GEs related to video processing that could be relevant for you:

1.       Codoan is a compress domain video analysis tools that can help you to detect objects from a video stream. You can get more information at http://catalogue.fi-ware.eu/enablers/compressed-domain-video-analysis-codoan

2.       Kurento is a framework to develop media applications. It's not available in FI-LAB yet, although it's expected to be available soon. More information at https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/FIWARE.ArchitectureDescription.Data.StreamOriented


In general, there's no generic guide to develop applications. For every available GE there are user's and programmers guide linked in the catalogue.

Hello,

My name is Ramón and I want to develop my first FI-WARE application.

I'm researching the possibility of developing applications for artificial vision systems with FI-LAB platform.

But I have the following disadvantages:

- On one hand I would need information about the steps to take to develop an application of these characteristics.

- On the other hand I haven't found any implementation of GE that I can use in future for this kind of developments. However, in the FI-WARE specification, specifically in Chapter 3: Data / Context Management are scheduled this type of GE, would you know when they might be available in the catalog?

- Finally I read about "The Stream Oriented Generic Enabler- SO GE" but it was still developing. This GE is related to vision systems,  would you know when they might be available in the catalog?
