[Fiware-lab-help] Object Storage Issues

Dear all,
Object Storage is up and running on FI-LAB. I would like to thank Alexandra, Javier and Henar for their support in resolving this issue and getting the new authentication mechanism up and running.

The capabilities call is not working on testbed for some reason. I will look into it in the New Year.

Perhaps at the next testbed meeting we could explore the best way of supporting issues with Object Storage in the future. Perhaps Intel could be given access to the relevant machines on both testbed/fi-lab.

With kind regards, and with best wishes to all.

- John.

Partial. Container is created but does not appear in the portal UI. It does not automatically refresh. Sign out and Sign in does not refresh the portal list of containers - is it cached somewhere in IE? :(

Hello Alexandra, all.
Please find below the situation of Object Storage as far as I can determine.

Alexandra - can you see if there is an obvious issue with Object Storage on FI-LAB? Are nodes hung?

In summary:

- Object Storage seems to have failed on FI-LAB.

- Object Storage seems to work on Testbed but I cannot completely test the new IdM keystone Proxy / CDMI authentication here from Brussels

- Portal does not work in Firefox or IE

What is the best way to log portal issues?

Thank you,

- John.

CDMI

Needs to be confirmed:
http://130.206.80.102:8080/cdmi

It appears that http://cdmiservice.lab.fi-ware.eu:8080/cdmi is no longer a valid url for testbed

Needs to be confirmed:
http://130.206.82.9:8080/cdmi

Endpoints need to be double-checked just in case info out of date.

Check Capabilities using CDMI?

tbd - cannot test from Brussels

No - cannot connect to host - connection timed out.

Ping does not return. Is above endpoint correct?

Possibly FILAB problem is related to the fundamental issue at top of this table
