Anyway, about your test on Trento node, I would suggest, if you change region, to refresh the page in the browser, otherwise you can experience some problem.
This issue with the portal will be fixed soon, but meanwhile you can follow the above advice.

Hello Marco,

thanks for you answer. I think I had "Spain" selected, as it was the default and it was stated on the welcome popup, that one should use Spain for the time being.

I just tried it and got pools with with "ext" and another option with "vpn" in their names. And after just a few seconds later I get only "net8300" again. 

If I select Region "Trento", I select "net8300" pool, and get a new error message:
{"itemNotFound": {"message": "FloatingIpPoolNotFound: Floating ip pool not found.", "code": 404}}

Can you suggest a working region/pool combination for allocating an IP and setting up a VM afterwards?
