Hi, i¹ve connected the VM via SSH and then used IP instead Hostname to ping a machine on the internet. Unfortunately, again with no success. Following you see what i¹ve tried and the content of the requested conf file, even if it is obviously not a DNS problem: root at ocdbinst-ocdbtier-1-003085:~# ping 8.8.8.8 PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8) 56(84) bytes of data. ^C --- 8.8.8.8 ping statistics --- 59 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 58464ms root at ocdbinst-ocdbtier-1-003085:~# cat /etc/resolv.conf # Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8) # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN nameserver 10.0.0.1 search novalocal root at ocdbinst-ocdbtier-1-003085:~# ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr fa:16:3e:44:0a:23 inet addr:10.0.3.210 Bcast:10.0.15.255 Mask:255.255.240.0 inet6 addr: fe80::f816:3eff:fe44:a23/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:926660 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:3503 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:55775815 (55.7 MB) TX bytes:491932 (491.9 KB) Any further hints? Should i try to disassociate and associate the IP again? Viele Grüße / Best regards Martin Lasak -- Dipl.-Ing.
