Dear Mr. Cordeiro, Thanks for contacting us. Your questions are a bit general and not so easy to resolve in an e-mail but I'll give it a try. Going down into the specific doubts I read: * We are producing R3 at the moment but it will take some more time. The manuals and all the references we have we have on the wiki correspond to R2. One exception: all the materials related to Orion are in R3.2 (wiki, manuals, catalogue, etc.) * We understand that FI-WARE is very extensive and coming to terms with all the components means many hours of reading. This is why we created a space where to concentrate all the information for each one of the GE implementations, the FI-WARE catalogue (http://catalogue.fi-ware.org). Each catalogue entry should have pointers to the places where to locate the info on the wiki, source code repositories, installable files, etc. Also, the catalogue expresses if a given component is freely available or it is restricted, in which case you need to talk to the GE owner see if they are open to provide it or not. * The user & programmer's manual normally have "hello world examples". Each GE has open specs, the description of the associated API and the User & Programmer's manual. You should be able to find the "hello world" in one of the three * For more concrete doubts on a given GE you can always write an e-mail to the person who is appointed as contact in the catalogue. If he/she fails to reply, please let us know. * The are more resources, I would like to stress that we have an eLearning plaform (http://edu.fi-ware.eu/) * For concrete questions on the glue between different GEs, I would need to put you in contact with the leader of the technical chapter concerned. There is some info on the Architecture document on the architecture document but not so extensive and detailed as you possible want. I hope that this answer at least part of your questions. We've been studying several approaches and feel that we need to get more information on FI-Ware before diving in. We've browsed through fi-ware, fi-lab, fi-wiki websites, read some information and have some questions on how to implement a solid project. Mainly our doubts are in the areas off: - using all GEs that appear on fi-wiki, because some appear not to be available for download or have incomplete or wrongs instructions. - A broader picture on how to integrate each GE with others and a "simple" "hello world" example that uses I2ND, IoT, Data and Business Framework, e.g., we understand the big picture, each module, its GE, but not the glue that goes between them. We do have a tight schedule to start producing business quality solutions so we wanted to reach you and ask for some help on these subjects.
