Hi guys,

Thanks for getting back to me so soon. Appreciate that.

Here's what I did. In region Berlin, I created a router, attached the public net to it. Deleted the federation IP, which I created out of desperation in the first place, but still I'm unable to attach the public IP to my instance...

Seems like I need your help again...

also the Berlin node has limited public floating IPs available. I released some of the floating IPs, so that you should be now able to associate a public floating IP to your instance.

Some more things to keep in mind. At the moment I make no sense to assign a federation floating IP to an instance if you do not have access to the federation network.
Each tenant hosted by the Berlin node has a quota limit of two floating IPs in total. So there is no difference between public or federation floating IP.
It is also required that you have attached the ext-net to your virtual router. If that is not the case allocation of floating IP will also fail.

Thanks a lot, that worked just fine. I switched to region Berlin and I kind of have the same problem. This time around I have trouble creating an IP on ext-net-public. Furthermore I get the same error when i want to assign the non-public ip from ext-net-federation to my instance...

Help is much appreciated.

Hi guys,

I just signed up tp FI-WARE.

I want to create a floating IP on NET8300, but I always get an error
(Error: undefined. Cause: unknow) when I want to create one. As such I cannot access the server from a public network!

Can you please look into this?
