Dear Johan, first of all, which image did you use to launch your instance ? and from which Region ? Than, about the firewall question: In FIWARE Lab you can’t upload your own firewall image but you have basically two level of configurable firewall: 1) Firewall managed by the Security groups You can configure it from the “Security” link at the left sidebar in FIWARE Lab Cloud page (https://cloud.lab.fi-ware.org/#nova/access_and_security/) Once configured your security group you should link it to your instance 2) Firewall of the instance Usually it is disable by default, but you can configure an additional firewall on the instance you launched. For example you can configure iptables rules on a Linux based instance.
