[Fiware-lab-help] RV: [FIWARE Lab] Cosmos maintenance task 03-07-2015 00:00:00 CEST

Buenos días,

                Estamos consultando el API de FIWARE para consultar las mediciones de los sensores y desde la pasada madrugada a las 3.00h aproximadamente, no estamos consiguiendo obtener respuesta.
                (Obtenemos un error del tipo: “Connection Refused”.)

                Según el mail recibido, la ventana de mantenimiento dura 15 minutos, pero nuestro servicio aún no ha sido restaurado.

                Por otro lado, estamos usando autenticación basada en Token en la cabecera HTTP:

                ¿Debemos cambiar inmediatamente a OAuth2 para poder obtener de nuevo respuesta?

Dear FIWARE Lab users,

A maintenance task on the global instance of Cosmos BigData has been scheduled for today 03-07-2015 00:00:00 CEST.

If everything goes well, the service should be stopped no more than 15 minutes.

Specifically, OAuth2-based authentication and authorization will be added to WebHDFS, the API allowing you to access your big data in a REST fashion. OAuth2 is the mechanism used by most of the FIWARE FEs for protecting their APIs.

How does this affect you? Changes in your normal operation should be minimum:
 * Now, a personal and non-transferable OAuth2 token has to be requested previously to any WebHDFS operation.
* Then, the token must be attached to the WebHDFS request as a header.

Tokens have a validity time, so they are reusable and you don’t need to request a token each time you want to operate w ith the data.
