Dear Mr./Mrs., In my previous email I requested the JIRA account, however it looks like it is only allocated for GE owners and FIWARE LAB Node owners. That's why below I directly specify the technical requirements that we would need for our project, along with justifications. Please let me know if any further details are needed. *VM1: calculation server** *• 16GB RAM • 20GB of a hard disk space • 1 public IP • 8 VCPUs This virtual machine requires 16GB RAM and 8 VCPUs to avoid slowness between concurrent and heavy calculations that we will execute in our Carpooling Search and Analytics Engine. Moreover, 16GB RAM is required to load the cartography in the memory at some moment. *VM2: web server** *• 16GB RAM • 20GB of a hard disk space • 2 public IP • 8 VCPUs As any WEB sever of a medium demand, we would need a considerable amount of CPUs in order to execute all the petitions. If we have 8 VCPUs, there might be some bottlenecks in some particular cases, however, in general, it should be sufficient. The motivation for RAM is similar to the calculation server. Finally, we need 2 public IPs in order to avoid frequent bottlenecks provoked by concurrent petitions and network velocity. *VM3: database server** *• 4GB RAM • 0GB of a hard disk space (*80GB volume will be attached to the instance*) • 1 public IP • 2 VCPUs We need 80GB of a hard disk space in order to store (i) all the cartography, (ii) user-specific data and (iii) Analytics Engine outputs.
