Dear,

You can get information/help about the FIWARE platform on:
- The FIWARE Academy e-learning portal: http://edu.fiware.org
- Video tutorials: http://help.lab.fi-ware.org
- Questions/Answers http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/fiware

To start using FIWARE, I suggest to create a Trial account and give it a try. Unfortunately for now the registration for trial accounts are closed and you should wait until registration will be opened again before sign up.
I suggest you to check Term and Condition to understand the topology of account you can request on FIWARE Lab: https://forge.fiware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/FIWARE_LAB_Terms_and_Conditions

About the specific request, probably Kurento media server is at the right choice but also the Object Storage GE can be useful in your case to do storing of uploaded videos. Here you can consult the complete GE catalogue: http://catalogue.fiware.org/enablers

Regards,
Daniele

We basically need to implement just a few functions in the current project. All we need is a system that provides users to upload videos on our web site(from their PCs or web cameras), watch and download them later. The technical idea is in merging some small video clips(1-2 minutes averagely) into one long video (at server side) and allow user to download the whole thing.

We wonder if you would do us a favor and help to decide what is the best solution for our project and described functionality. Any suggestions, instructions, manuals or tutorials about how to use any of the suggested tools will be highly appreciated.
