Dear, First of all, can you please let us also know the region you are using ? Usually there is no way to connect to a fresh new instance via the console if the instance is started from a default image, since they usually permit access only via ssh. In other words you should be able to reach the instance via network and use the ssh private/public keys in order to login. Maybe your instance has some network misconfiguration, please have a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAVH3b67hP8 (taken from https://edu.fiware.org/index.php/) and also this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27543127/deploy-vm-in-fiware-lab-nodes-with-neutron Best, Daniele > On 13 Oct 2015, at 12:02, Jan Vandepitte <janvandepitte at bovinet-online.com> wrote: > > Hi > > On stackoverflow I learned that I had to ask questions on fiware infrastructure on this mailing list. > > I launch an instance (Ubuntu 12.04/14.04 and centos 7.0 ) on filab but I am unable to connect or login to the machines. > · I pinged to associated public IP with correct security group (IMCP¨0.0.0.0:0): no response (same for SSH) > · From inside the portal I see an action “reset password” on the instances but if I try I get an unimplemented error > · I can connect to the VM via Qemu but I get asked a login.
