[Fiware-lab-help] [Fiware-tech-help] Fwd: Prosa FIWARE tool question

Hi all,



We have included PROSA fiware enabler to be included in our Real Time
Continuous Apiary Monitoring System project and to be used as an online
testing framework to ensure the constant availability of QoS monitoring
data for our services provided.


In our project, we are using the latest technology trends and as a result,
we provide services to the web via REST API. We currently realized that
PROSA enabler is not compatible with REST API, instead it uses old
fashioned wsdl web services.


Since it is not possible to implement our services again in order to be
compatible with PROSA enabler, we asked for support. We got the following
answers:

·         From *David Dalle Carbonare*:

*“the PROSA tool is not evolving any more in the context of FIWARE **but I
put you in contact (in a separate email) with the organization that is
developing that tool*”

·         From  *Andreas Metzger* (forwarded from David as PROSA developing
tool responsible):

*“PROSA indeed only supports WSDL”*


So, due to the facts that PROSA does not support REST API, but most
important that it does no longer evolving in the context of FIWARE, we
would like to* exclude its usage from our project. *


*Could this be acceptable from your side according to the reasons provided?*
