Can I proceed for the migration of your vm LoveAndRobotsWEB?

I had a problem in recovering your security group “default”, so you will need to create all your rules from lannion2 to Lannion3.
Also I will create manually your public key.

If it is ok, I hope that I can make it till 11:00 AM UTC.

We will postpone the migration for Thuesday, cause you need to start the vm on your account on Lannion3 using the Cloud portal, following the procedure:
To start your VM on Lannion3 node after migration, you will need to next steps in cloud portal https://cloud.lab.fiware.org/#nova/images/:
1.       Chose Lannion3 Region
2.       Normally the flavors , keypairs and the security groups were imported (look in Compute>Security), if not:
a.       Create a new keypair
b.      Create a new security list(s)
c.       Allocate IP to your project (Important: Your IP will be changed, you will not be able to recover your old IP )
3.       Start VM on Lannion3 node:
a.       You will find the snapshoted image named ansible-snapshot-<tenant_id>-<vm_id> in Compute>Images, then click Launch button
b.      Rename your vm and chose the flavor in "1.Details"
c.       Select keypair and security groups in "2. Access & Security"
d.      Chose node-int-net-01 network in "3. Networking"
e.      Then "Launch instance" in "5. Summary"

Hi Cristian,

Do I need to be involved in the process of migrating? I will not be available on Monday as the company is attending an event that day. If I do need to be involved, the same time Tuesday I will be available

After the migration it will be done, you will receive a mail to start your VM on Lannion3 node.
I can create for you on Lannion3 node a new flavor to use 100G on your HDD, or you can use the volume capability, in creating  a new volume of 100GB and to attach to your VM.
I think using volumes it will be a better solution. The advantage is that you can attach/dettach it to another VM very simple and your datas are saved into an external storage, in the case that your VM is compromised.

Just tell me before your choice: disk on VM or external volume.

Here you will find all infos to start your VM in Lannion 3  node.

What will we migrate:
•         flavors
•         Keypairs

•         VMs snapshot images, that will be saved in juno-erwan
