Dear Poznan node team, We received a problem report about the Poznan node outage. Do you have any ETA for the resolution of the critical storage failure? This issue is affecting at least two SMEs with demos this week. Many thanks in advance for your help. Kind regards, ilknur From: Yannis Skourtis [mailto:yannis at integrated.gr] Sent: Saturday, January 21, 2017 4:14 PM To: communityaccount at jira.fiware.org Cc: Chulani, Ilknur; Raul Palma; Dinos Psichos Subject: Re: [FIWARE-JIRA] (FLUA-66) SSRF-DSS Dear Ilknur, Dear Raul, Hello and thank you for the ongoing support. Unfortunately, the FIWARE Poznan node, where we're hosting most of our computing seems down for some time now. Do you have any idea when we might regain access to our FIWARE Lab community account instances there? We're participating in an important expo these days and we need to demonstrate parts of the work online, so uptime is crucial. You can view its status here: https://jira.fiware.org/browse/HELP-7027 Regarding the commercial nodes, there are a few commercial nodes that are currently in the process of being set up. Public announcements will be made regarding these very soon. Kind regards, ilknur FW External User - 03/Nov/16 5:10 PM ------------------ Comment by info at integrated.gr<mailto:info at integrated.gr> : Dear partners, The SmartAgriFood2 project finished last month, and our community account on FIWARE Lab expires in November. Login/username : info at integrated.gr<mailto:info at integrated.gr> [image: Inline image 1] We have two requests / issues to check: 1) Can we extend our community account's expiration date? We'd like time at least until Spring, if possible. 2) What are the options for dependable hosting with FIWARE as we go for commercialisation? The Poznan region proved too unstable last year for a production environment, and the same was true for Spain, Spain2 and a couple other regions we had tried for VM hosting. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. You can view its status here: https://jira.fiware.org/browse/HELP-7659 Regarding a production environment, FIWARE Lab is meant to be an experimentation environment. It may be used for development/testing purposes only, but not for commercial use. For a commercial production environment, you have a few options: - Deploy your app on a commercial FIWARE node. There are a few commercial nodes that are currently in the process of being set up. Public announcements will be made regarding these very soon on the FIWARE site. - Deploy your app on your own FIWARE cloud instance (this requires you to setup Openstack,etc.). - Deploy your app on a third party cloud provider such as AWS, etc, and install GEs, etc there.. Hope this clarifies a bit. In case you need to interact with the support, please **please reply to this email** or contact the helpdesk including your request id (FLUA-xxxx) Account request id: FLUA-66 Description: (The Sustainable Small Ruminants Farming Decision Support System (SSRF-DSS) will provide a web-based, model-driven decision support tool for farmers using small ruminants (sheep and goats) in extensive farming methods. The model that is the basic inference engine of the app helps farmers optimize their annual income, taking into account labour hours, among other variables. SSRF-DSS will provide an integrated platform where stakeholders (farmers or other bodies) will - Use the model, through a user-friendly web interface, for an EU area with tested data, to plan for their annual income in an optimal and environmentally friendly way. - Input data for different EU areas where key factors vary (such as subsidies, land rent costs, fodder costs, product prices etc.). - Help interconnect the app with other apps within FIspace and with Open Data sources within the EU (e.g. subsidy or product price data) that can facilitate accurate, real-time decision support. The development team will utilise FIWARE technologies to deliver an integrated planning, resource management and decision support service for small ruminants farmers. The FIspace B2B collaboration & application mash-up potential will enable cross-domain access for data acquisition (fodder price data, land price data, EU subsidies data, to name a few) and data exchange while all decision support suggestions will be complemented by dynamically generated charts and visualisations. *Reporter*: Yannis Skourtis *E-mail*: [mailto:yannis at integrated.gr<mailto:yannis at integrated.gr>]) Status: Closed Resolution: Done Components: SmartAgriFood User full name: Yannis Skourtis User account to be upgraded: <a href='mailto:info at integrated.gr<mailto:info at integrated.gr>'>info at integrated.gr<mailto:info at integrated.gr></a> Accelerator submission name: 14906-SSRF-DSS Preferred FIWARE Lab Node: Spain Number of VMs: 2.0 # public IPs: 1.0 total # vCPUs: 2.0 total RAM: 4096.0 total harddisk: 60.0 Object Storage: Additional Comments/Requirements: Currently using 2 instances in region Spain2 ** NOT Spain.
