[Fiware-lab-recovery-tf] Clarification on how we are going to manage user accounts

Hi,

I would like to clarify a couple of questions regarding how we are
going to manage user accounts.

First question: How do we pretend that users linked to SMEs and
startups included in the FIWARE Accelerator Programme create their
accounts on the FIWARE Lab? Should they first create an Trial user
account and then apply for becoming a Community User? I understand
that until May 1st, this will be the case but what afterwards? Does the
new IdM come with an update on the new user account creation process so
that they will be able to apply for a Community User account? If so,
we have to be rather quickly in serving their request for the Community
User account ... Did we decide to automate the process, how? Otherwise,
Who will be in charge of serving the requests for Community Users?
FIWARE coaches? I understand that it is manually (applications
captured through some sort of web application form which I understand is
the one associated to the link to be provided by Federico, see my
previous mail on message to be sent to Trial Users when reaching the
limit) and the FIWARE coaches will take care of requests. Please
confirm or clarify.

Second question: I understand we agreed time ago that we wanted to
allow users that do not require booking Cloud/IP resources ... As an
example, users that may be required for the application that I wish to
run on top of the virtual infrastructure I'm deploying, but do not
require to create VMs, etc (they will take advantage of existing
ones). How are we going to support this? My understanding is that a
Cloud tenant will be indeed linked to the organization which is
implicitly created when a Trial User account is created and then these
kind of users not consuming Cloud resources would be created linked to
that organization. However ... Can a User create other User accounts
under his organization without them going through the sign up process?
If not ... how have we planned to manage the scenario in which a given
organization wishes to create accounts, not necessarily being able to
book cloud/IP resources? One possibility is that we allow "Basic
Users" (or however we want to call them) to be created that will simply
not get access to the Cloud portal ... Otherwise I'm afraid we may find
issues (I cannot decide that Trial Users will be used for this because
they will be deleted in 2 weeks and these are users a given SME/startup
under the FIWARE Accelerator project may be requesting ...)

Maybe these question had already been addressed by you, but I want to
have a clear picture written black on white.

   Cheers,

-- Juanjo
