Dear All,

Siemens supports NSN's proposal.

Further we would like to emphasize - as Susanne Weikl already did - that it is the Coordinator's responsibility to reconcile positions instead of deciding matters without taking into account the partners proposals. We cannot understand why a Coordinator refuses a modifications which is agreeable for the vast majority of all partners. This discussion could have been finished already a week ago.

Dear Miss Plasencia,

we do not accept this position.

It is not acceptable to introduce changes on an important point in the second last version of the consortium agreement, then distribute a last version and say: "this is it".

We have an agreement, when all project partners are reasonably happy with the draft. NSN has commented on this item the day we received the "final version" and ever since, so we can not be blamed for delaying.

As a Coordinator, Telefonica has the task to reconcile positions and bring them to a close and not to decide on matters unilaterally. This is particularly annoying as the issue in question does not even seem to be problematic for the majority.

We would appreciate, if we could return to start discussion on the matter (if at all needed!) rather than continue losing time on a proclaimed end of time for comments.

Dear all,

No changes should be accepted at this time because the time for changes proposals was already closed. As you know, we can always add any modifications in the future through an amendment to the CA with the agreement of all parties.
In our understanding, of course, everything can be qualified or clarified up to infinitum.   But perfect is enemy of the good.

All of us have made a great effort to close this CA and the results are sincerely superb. We would like to thank all of you for your great contribution.


As a friendly reminder, you have a period for sending forms signed that expires 45 days after the EC has signed (August 2nd).

In order to  facilitate the decision making:

We have so far only heard SAP objecting to the proposal - we think that the concern can be overcome with the clarification sent out yesterday.

("For the sake of clarity, Parties signing this CA as well as any other third party, subject to additional conditions or agreement ____where requested by a Party____, may develop and release implementations of the FI-WARE Generic Enabler Specifications on a royalty-free basis.")

All other Parties who responded were either of the opinion, that the addition might not necessarily be necessary or were only concerned about timing.

Is the conclusion correct that the majority could basically live with the addition?

Please speak up, so that we know, whether we have a decision or not and can proceed!
