Hi everybody

A short summary containing the most important/urgent parts of todays meeting.
(Please see the minutes for more details)

WP13 M30 progress reports
Still some reports missing! Please send today. Otherwise I have not chance to integrate until Friday.

OpenSpecification
Most of the issues are fixed. But still there are some parts which are open and have to be fixed asap. Therefore we defined two important urgent action points:


AP (today EOB for ALL GE owners): fix open points

  *   Add missing content
  *   Fix open points from last reviews, in the minutes and check
     *   if structure is correct
     *   complete and correct header section
     *   no links to private wiki pages
     *   all images available
  *   Add relevant terms to the Glossary page
  *   Complete section Open API Specification / or add a statement about how to progress in the Detailed Specification document
  *   for DRAFT API-specifications please also add a comment at the beginning of the API document, that this is a draft or even early draft, work in progress and subject to change.
  *   Complete/fix section Re-utilised Technologies/Specification available and OK
  *   Remove the remarks (orange boxes) if the requested section is complete

AP (thursday EOB for ALL reviewers): check the above points and give feedback for errors to fix or if everything is ok

Architecture Description
Most problematic seems to be the Architecture Description:
Text is still missing completely @Philipp/Torsten any proposals how to go on here?
We discussed the Architecture picture. The basic structure is welcomed but there are some points we might clarify:

  *   Are these all actors? Can they not also access directly the client core?
  *   How to show all the APIs defined in the GEs?
  *   Description and mentioning of protocol (e.g. tundra protocol over websocket)
  *   Add asset pipeline to the pic: e.g. a way from modelling app to scene description

We have to add the Middleware GE to the picture
Lasse would like to extends server core of picture from a synchronization server view
Jonne also has some ideas for clarifications
Other contribution to enhance the picture are welcome
@Torsten, Can we get the source of the picture?


F2F Workshop in Uoulu
The next F2F meeting will be in Uoulu at Monday November 11th (9-18) at University of Uoulu / CIE (Japanese Garden Auditorium)
