[Fiware-miwi] [URGENT] Action required on catalogue

The WP13 OpenSpecifications (& Architecture) is available on the public wiki since mid last week (http://wiki.fi-ware.org). On Friday I also updated the Architecture overview figure to contain the MiWi GEs (http://wiki.fi-ware.org/FI-WARE_Architecture).

Still open and one of tomorrows main topics will be the creation of the catalogue entries.

The commission will very soon start to verify the catalogue, to see what the status of the GEs is. Therefore it is very important to have the entries ASAP

  *   Please follow the guidelines in Miguels email (below) from last Thursday Aug 14
  *   When creating the catalog entries, make also sure to give the enabler the name which matches to the link on the OpenSpecification page (see Catalogue-Link in your GE OpenSpec header). (e.g. in http://wiki.fi-ware.org/FIWARE.OpenSpecification.MiWi.GISDataProvider the link points to http://catalogue.fi-ware.org/enablers/gis-data-provider, therefore the Name should be „GIS Data Provider“).
  *   Very important is to have the correct „Terms and Conditions“. It has to provide the term and conditions for all three cases „Experimentation/testing within the scope of FI-PPP“, „FI-LAB (Open Innovation Lab)“ and „External Availability“ (outside of FI-PPP, FI-LAB). For the first two it is easiest to copy the content from a good example (e.g. Orion Context Broker).
The "External Availability" specifies the public license (outside of FI-WARE/FI-LAB). if it is a GPL or AGPL license, please also add the required paragraph from Miguel’s email below and see the linked examples (Orion context broker & Wirecloud).

I am aware that the work has internally started and Christof duly informed of the status. However and after dispatching with Juanjo we both agree that it is worth sending a message to give you the context. For reasons we all know WP13 is basically not present in the catalogue and  until we get GEs there, "WP13 does not exist". Luckily, all is unblocked now. The EC is starting an inspection of the catalogue soon. Editing catalogue entries takes some time and follows strict rules. There are guidelines but it is better to take a couple of good examples and you can follow the same structure.

I am telling you this because it is better for all to avoid needless iterations. I went to WP13 on the catalogue and what I saw falls into one of these categories:

  *   GEs not present at all
  *   GEs with drafts that do not follow standard sections (for instance, none of them has the 3 sub-sections under "Terms and Conditions" -  they are not suitable for publication)

One more thing. In licenses GPL or Affero GPL (just these) we need this additional text:

This text is in the examples I provided so you get the idea.
