Before I leave on holidays after a loooong August I wanted to make a
point of sending you a message.

First I wanted to show my appreciation for your prompt reaction to my
request a few days ago, I see many catalogue entries now. I also wanted
to apologise but my poor response. I was driven away by higher
priorities (for instance, the delivery of 4 deliverables of IoT today is
not coincidental) and could not reply properly to a few messages from
you that got stuck in my inbox.

The way to proceed with the catalogue is not always easy and one of the
things that we get from attending the WP10 calls is that we disseminate
guidelines for deployment on FI-Lab. Attending these meetings is
compulsory for each partner ("WPx sends a representative" is not a
reasonable approach) and those who do not attend would not be right in
complaining that they do not understand how this goes. Admittedly, we
have not met in WP10 for a long time!

Anyway, a bit more of info. First, I link to a tutorial that you may or
may not be aware of (and yes, it was mentioned in a few WP10 calls):

I saw that you have been sharing info and discussing how to do things
(for instance, I saw an email from Arto giving tips, which is good!)
which is excellent.

do not CC him by default, this person is always overloaded and very
busy. This is theoretically not his work.

You also know that Manuel puts together our perception  of the progress
in FI-Lab. The report he sends from time to time shows where we see a
gap and what we see as completed (images, recipes, etc.)

I am hopeful that next week we will start to see new GEs in WP13. This
will be very good and it will improve our image, your GEs are really
have "something". Only a look at the manuals and you realise that they
are really, really promising.
