Hi,
The image Ari refers below is stored under the name “MiWi-POI server” in the
Fi-Lab cloud Images folder http://cloud.lab.fi-ware.org/#nova/images/
and new copies can be launched using it just by clicking the Launch –button
next to it. You can use e.g. the “m1.small” flavor memory model, and you
need
to have a keypair created before that under the Security/ Keypairs tab. When
launching the instance remember also to tick the “default” security group on
and open the ports 80, 8080 and 22 at least for this group (“default”)
using the “Edit Rules” action (by adding new “TCP 80 80 CIDR” etc rules).
If you (after creating the instance) want to access your server externally
you need to allocate a new IP to your project and associate it with the
server instance you just created above using the Actions –menu available
under the “Floating IPs” tab of the Security page.). All this is well
explained in the Help&Info section of the Fi-Ware cloud page. The IP will be
an absolute address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx), there seems to be no name service
available (the url names below are served by DynDNS.org).
You can try the pre-installed cloud instances using the provided Ari’s demo
apps via the below links:
http://poi.webhop.org Original virtual server
http://cie.webhop.org Running copy instance of the same image
(we may kill this copy later to save resources).

All of the MiWi epics seem to miss packaging. It is not clear for me what
must be done about it.
We have a POI server image in Fi-Lab already ready to install. Can we use it
as a result of packaging? How?
