Hello, Just to let you all know that our virtual machine instance is now running a slice of Oulu region geodata. The dataset contains terrain elevation, aerial texture and building polygons. Example queries for the Oulu city center are as follows: Aerial image: http://130.206.80.182:8080/geoserver/fiware/wms?service=WMS&version=1.1.0&request=GetMap&layers=fiware:terrain_texture_orto&styles=&bbox=427481,7210400,428200,7211000&width=512&height=512&srs=EPSG:3067&format=image%2Fjpeg Elevation query: http://130.206.80.182:8080/geoserver/w3ds?version=0.4&service=w3ds&request=GetScene&crs=EPSG:3047&format=model/xml3d+xml&layers=%20fiware:postgis_oulu_terrain&boundingbox=427481,7210400,428200,7211000&LOD=6 Building silhouettes (polygonlist): http://130.206.80.182:8080/geoserver/fiware/ows?service=WFS&version=2.0.0&request=GetFeature&typeName=fiware:building_polygons&outputFormat=json&srsName=EPSG:3047&bbox=427481,7210400,428200,7211000,EPSG:3047 The building silhouettes are for reference. They can be constructed into buildings at the client side, for example by methods presented by sfcgal library http://www.sfcgal.org/. This is something we are experimenting at the moment how easily it can be achieved. -- Jarkko Vatjus-Anttila CTO Cyberlightning Ltd. mobile. +358 405245142 email. jarkko at cyberlightning.com See our new press release: http://cyberlightning.com/blog/2014/05/13/cyberlightning-brings-3d-visualization-to-industrial-internet-of-things/ www.cyberlightning.com This e-mail and all attached material are confidential and may contain legally privileged information.
