Thanks for the demo infos folks, am looking forward to seeing these
things both together and what we will then figure out to do next.
Seems great to me so far. Also what we talked with Jarkko and others
about GIS etc.

Posting to a separate thread to not steal the other, here's a link to
some info I put up in a similar vain about what we've planned to demo:

also pasting the doc below for convenience:

Here in Oulu, I’m preparing to present MiWi demos according to the
plan we’ve had throughout the year and what we’ve collaborated /
coordinated with DFKI as well: likewise an integrated demo with a city
model / service.

The live city service is available publicly on-line in alpha testing
phase for entering to normal production use by late this year / early
next year:

The service is built on realXtend's Open Source technologies and hence
utilizes several MiWi GEs: 3D-UI, Synchronization, Virtual Characters,
Interface Designer, 2D-UI. POI, GIS and Real-Virtual Interaction can
be used and we have tested integration with POI. We are planning
integrating with GIS and Real-Virtual Interaction as well (which are
now featured in the DFKI demo).

Regarding 3D-UI / graphics rendering, the externally available
Creative Commons licensed Oulu3DLive city model is used as an example
of hand-modelled detailed geometry and textures.

As a programming example, WebTundra Pong is a minimal game made with
the SDK. It is described in detail in the User Manual
Live demo server for multi-user play is now tested on the fi-ware
testbed: http://130.206.81.111/pong/Pong.html

For graphics effects we refer to the underlying three.js rendering
library -- there is a gallery and examples on threejs.org.
