[Fiware-ngsi] NGSI REST binding accepted media type

Dear All in IoT team interested in NGSI specification,

May you please clarify to us one thing:
Are you going to use RESTlike requests to update and retrieve the data/context where the payloads will be XML documents containing addressed entity and its attributes as temperature, humidity, light, etc., where the REST is based on HTTP and the payload is a document, thus no REST resources?
Or
Are you going to address each data content and attribute as RESTful requests updating and retrieving a single data type (temperature single o appended, etc.) as a REST resource?
Or
Both types of communication shall be supported?

This is important for our implementation roadmap of the Pub/Sub component as such development would be serialized if we will, e.g. support first the RESTlike and then later RESTful as far as both are not so complicated (a part of few complications, which we call limitations and restrictions in our implementation) but requesting implementation time and we have to provide a reasonable Pub/Sub GE roadmap.

Dear NGSI interested people,

We identified that in the REST bindings it is not yet specified which media types the server should accept. We propose to make application/xml mandatory, and everything else optional.

Any opinions on that from your side?
We are going to add this to the specification of the REST binding in a few days unless there are any objections.
