Hello Tobias,

I made a change in the wiki wrt the association request when we were conducting our integration tests in Madrid. At least for UNIS and TID we agreed to use <entityAssociation> in the <value> of the ContextMetadata:

<value>
<entityAssociation>
                     <sourceEntityId type="TemperatureSensor" isPattern="false">
                        <id>Sensor5</id>
                     </sourceEntityId>
                     <targetEntityId type="House" isPattern="false">
                        <id>house3</id>
                     </targetEntityId>
</entityAssociation>
                     <attributeAssociationList>
                        <attributeAssociation>
                           <sourceAttribute>measurement</sourceAttribute>
                           <targetAttribute>indoorTemperature</targetAttribute>
                         </attributeAssociation>
                      </attributeAssociationList>
                </value>

Can we all please agree/disagree on this?

Best regards,
Tarek

I have merged the two version. Now the public and the private wiki version of this page are consistent again.

Best
Tobias

Hi all,
There are likely to be inconsistent changes in public and private wikis for the associations page. Look at the history of both pages:

Private Wiki: https://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fi-ware-private/index.php/NGSI_association

[cid:image001.png at 01CF6EC6.E0FE35D0]

Public Wiki: https://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/NGSI_association

[cid:image002.png at 01CF6EC6.E0FE35D0]

I don’t know which one is the good one, or if a merge is required. Could you please check?

Best Regards,

                Sergio.

Thierry,

I implemented now the following changes to the NGSI descriptions

- Added a link the ‘NGSI information model’ wiki page to the overview page

- Updated the existing change log tables, and introduced change log tables
to the information model page and to the associations page

- Some slight updates of obsolete links and other minor changes of formulations etc.

Best
Tobias

Dear Thierry,

The main work on NGSI binding had been taking place in 2012, and since then there were only marginal changes on the wiki pages.

What I can do is to take a look at the pages again and verify that the descriptions are up-to-data, then I can put something into the table like ‘verification’ to show that the document is still up-to-date.

Should I?

Best
Tobias

Dear all,

Preparing the Open Specs deliverable, I’ve checked that we have old dates for the last changes in the NGSI pages. All the dates are in 2012 while we submitted a final version in November last year. Could you check and update the “change history” in the NGSI pages?

Thanks
