Dear Carlos and all,

I remember from our discussions at the kickoff meeting that you guys have already started to use NGSI for actuation. Can you explain to this mailinglist how you do it, or is it somewhere documented?

As far as I remember you use an 'updateContext' operation in order to set the desired value of attributes. Like "light.status=on". Some concrete questions are

- How can the initiator of the actuation receive feedback about success? Is it somehow via the statuscode in the response to the updateContext operation?

- What if the actuation task is something that takes longer than one HTTP session? Or if the actuation task is something

- Are actuation tasks somehow distinguished from 'normal' updateContext operations? For example by a specific piece of metadata?

Thanks & Best Regards
Tobias
