[Fiware-ngsi] time interval scope

Hi,

Defining temporal scopes is indeed a very good idea.
As time and space are dimensions usually closely related and important features in the IoT domain (smart city, smart home, smart agriculture,…), sooner or later requirements for defining spatial scopes (within a block, within a  district, less than 1km from point (longitude, latitude)) with come up. I know that UoSurrey have defined such feature in their GE but don’t know how it could be mapped to NGSI.

Could you imaging to make historical scopes (maybe in a limited functionality) part of a set of NGSI-standardized scopes?

Dear Tobias,

We (TID) have developed a component named Short Term Historic (STH) which stores the evolution of entity attributes along time. It implements an API which I think allows to do queries as the example you mention.

Please have a look to it at https://github.com/telefonicaid/IoT-STH, specially the "Consuming raw data" and "Consuming aggregated time series information" sections.

For any further question, I'm CCing Germán Toro and Francisco Romero, who are the developers of STH component.

NEC is currently considering to implement such a feature, but we rather want to use an existing scope format than to reinvent the wheel.
