Dear all, A quick update from my side regarding the Grant Agreement Preparation. Following last week's meeting, where the proposed project period extension (with 6 months to a total of 33 months) was adopted, the Work Package leads are now readjusting the timings of each task and the related deliverables and milestones. The baseline is the Gantt chart in the Excel document I sent around in the previous email -- also available online here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B4jiMzhNIS92cGcwcWFMYkdyV1k The WP leads will reach out to the involved partners for a check and quality assurance as needed. This will happen in parallel to the consolidation of the updated Description of Action document, to be submitted Friday this week. Because the process of putting all of the information into the system is fragmented and cumbersome, deadline for any changes are Thursday EOB. An updated budget will be provided together with the consolidated DoA to the entire consortium during Friday. But as of now, apart from the extension and co-creation adjustments, no new, major issues have surfaced, neither through the meetings or over email or other channels, so I foresee a straight-forward process. In a parallel process, the draft Consortium Agreement has now been distributed. Please ensure that your legal teams are advised, and that they are registered to receive the legal team mailing list messages where any specific issues will be dealt with. On Friday September 9, I'll be in Brussels where I hope to have a chance to discuss our updated DoA directly with the Project Officer. We plan to have an online consortium meeting shortly thereafter. The starting date is not yet confirmed, but our expectation is still January 2017. The kick-off is expected back-to-back with the Connected Smart Cities Conference on January 12 in Brussels, but that is still also to be confirmed. We're working further with the idea of having a pre-publicity/event optimization group, consisting of: ENoLL, FCC, ENoLL, Aalto and AU (and whoever wants to join!). This group will lead the optimal preparation of the coming events, especially Smart City Expo (Barcelona, Nov. 15-17) and Connected Smart Cities Conference (Brussels, Jan. 12, with the tentative theme: IoT for Smart Cities). We've been awaiting the (very successful!) Open Living Lab Days in Montréal to be over so that our ENoLL colleagues have some operational headroom again. We'll get this kicked off once they're back in office. Regarding the idea of having a face-to-face meet-up in Bratislava for those who are anyway present at the ICT Proposers' Day September 26-27, it was strongly supported by the participants in last meeting. I therefore suggest we try and set up a 1-2 hour meeting on the 27th. It's not critical if you cannot join, on the other hand it's a nice opportunity to talk through the current situation of the project, on the verge of the final deadline for signing of the Grant Agreement. That's all for now. Emilia, Eva and I will keep you posted. Feel free to pose questions or comments to us, directly or in this forum. Kind regards, Martin P.S. Sorry for the missing calendar invites. There seems to ahve been some irregularities in our Exchange setup. It's fixed now. > On 24. aug. 2016, at 14.08, Martin Brynskov <brynskov at cavi.au.dk> wrote: > > Dear all, > > We're convening now online (usual login, see below) for a quick chat about the extension.
