-- Brief description of the event (in english):  frontierCities, funded by the European Union under the 7th Framework Programme, operates as an accelerator to promote the use of FI-WARE (Future Internet Ware, www.fi-ware.org) under the Future Internet Public Private Partnership (FI-PPP) Programme.  frontierCities is one of sixteen accelerators whose role is to disburse approximately  80M euros to SMEs, Start-ups and Web-Developers who can use FI-WARE technologies for use in Smart City applications.  In particular, the frontierCities accelerator is focussing on the area of Smart Mobility and is therefore calling for proposals that address mobility issues on a city level.  In addition to offering equity-free grants of up to 150,000 euros per SME and Start-up, we will also provide business and technical support throughout the duration of the grant.  A presentation will be given that highlights the key aspects of this funding call.  However, for more information, please visit www.fi-frontiercities.eu or register to view the online application form at www.f6s.com/fiware-frontiercities.
