Brief description of the event (in english):

The challenge (competition) is organised in three steps:

-      training sessions

-      submission of the business idea

-      evaluation and matchmaking
The training sessions were carried out in collaboration with Engineering in a two days in Bologna (15 and 16 of September, 2015). 25 developers attended the training sessions (more then 120 people attended the session addressed to discuss about the future of FIWARE and the adoption of FIWARE as a standard for software development).
The Italy challenge was introduced during the Bologna event: "Finish asks to SMEs and WEs to think, to design and/or to develop a new app about Finish topics based on FIWARE and/or FISPACE".
The idea must be submitted before the event (Modena, 23rd of February, 2016): the Italy challenge will be formally published in December (stay tuned on the Finish website for news).
The evaluation will take care the compliance with Finish topics and the business domain (better if developed on the basis of Fispace). Matchmaking of developers with potential customers and business partners will support the selection of the most interesting apps (also on the basis of the feedback of the potential customers and stakeholders attending the event).
The prizes are

-      1st place: 4.000 Euro

-      2nd place: 3.000 Euro

-      3rd place: 2.000 Euro

-      4th place: 1.000 Euro
