[Fiware-ops-help] FIWARE Specifics

Hi,

I built a content management system to market my two hotels that was very
effective, although I hasten to add I am a businessman not a developer.

 

For the past twelve months I have been working to make this available to
multiple, disparate hotels using the open source DNN platform, itself based
upon Microsoft technologies. Going from one to many has proved more
difficult than anticipated. Everything is more expensive and takes longer
than it should.

 

I have come across the FIWARE Accelerator programme, which may offer the
opportunity of funding and finding a suitable team member to help with
development.

 

One of the criteria for funding application appears to be that the project
uses FIWARE in some way.  I am unclear as to the specifics of FIWARE and my
projects suitability to it. What are the tools, processes and languages that
underpin the aspirational generalisations that are all I can find on the
websites. 

 

Any guidance would be appreciated.
