[Fiware-ops-help] Becoming a FIWARE node?

Dear Eero,
thanks for your interest in becoming a FIWARE node.
Regarding you questions:
1) I would suggest to check this wiki page that is related to the XIFI Open
Call (now the open call is closed but regarding the minimum requirement it
could be a good reference): http://wiki.fi-xifi.eu/Public:
NodeMinimalRequirements
2) The minimum steps are the following:
a) installation of the cloud management platform (OpenStack)
b) joining the FIWARE Lab federation (ie configuring your OpenStack
instance so as to put it into the federation)
c) install monitoring system, FIWARE GE images and other less important
stuff
3) Basically you should offer maintenance and support to the users of the
federation. In any case it is not needed a 24x7 support but just a support
during working hours.
